GIRLS SOCCER SCHOOL STARTING SOON – AGED 4-8

Following the massive success of the saturday soccer school running in Tameside which houses in excess of 120 children it has been decided to start an 11.30-12.30 GIRLS ONLY soccer school at Denton Community College.

Only a small number of girls have been attending the other soccer school sessions which is a huge shame bearing in mind the large number of girls coming through the footytotz programme.

In the next few months we are looking to expand the number of sessions which we run through-out the week and venture into new venues.

ACHIEVEMENT BOOKLETS

From the beginning of November 2011 we will be introducing ACHIEVEMENT BOOKLETS to each session.

We have been piloting this scheme on a Saturday afternoon for the past few months whereby each week the children receive a stamp in their booklet to confirm that they have identified and used a specific area of their foot during that session.

The 6 areas of the feet are INSIDE, OUTSIDE, SOLE, HEEL, TOES and LACES.

Once an achievement booklet has been completed the child will receive a TROPHY and CERTIFICATE.
