About Footytotz™ Tameside

In August 2009 we were pleased to bring our unique Footytotz™ program to Tameside and we have plans to expand our session times and venues to meet demand.

What makes Footytotz™ so unique?

At Footytotz™, we deliver structured, pre-school play program for children aged two to four years old. With the support and guidance of education and health professionals, Footytotz™ is specially designed to develop your child’s motor skills of balance, co-ordination and agility and is proven to be a fantastic way of developing your child’s self confidence and their independence. Most of all it’s a great way for you and your child to get involved and enjoy an hour of fantastic fun.

As a football lover I constantly bemoan the state of the English game and worry about the lack of British talent coming through the professional ranks.
However, if more of the country offered what I have stumbled across for my three year old son, there will undoubtedly be significant improvement in years to come.
I have been taking my lad to Footytotz™ on a Thursday afternoon and Saturday mornings in Haughton Green for around three months.
The skills he has developed are incredible. He kicks competently with both feet, has great ball control, and gets exercise in the most fun and innovative way with games, without realising he is keeping fit. In this age where childhood obesity is endemic, it’s massively important to keep our kids used to exercise.
The coach is absolutely fantastic and has the patience of a saint, but more importantly, offers my lad so much fun he literally counts the days down each week.
If three, four and five year olds develop all over the country like the kids I see at Footytotz™ weekly we need not worry about the future of our game.
I just wanted to say a big well done publicly to Rick for his scheme because with guys like him we’ll be awash with superstars from our area in 15 years, I’m certain of that.”
